I just did a full install on Mandriva just lately. Postfix (Receive and basic mail box) (I have internal and external users and internal email only people and some are allowed only to send to certain domains or users in other domains. Postfix is easy to set all this up.) Spamassassin (Spam) Clam (Virus) Amavis (Content checking) Dovecot (POP3 and IMAP) Apache for http base functionality Horde (Web Mail Interface using default pop3.. Could use the IMAP but imap is a bit resource hungry) Horde Notes Horde Address book Horde Nag Horde calendar Horde passwd (So users can change the password) poppassd (For the password to be changed) Shorewall for Firewall sshdfilter for maintenance access but locks out IP addresses if attacks occur amanda for backup
Mysql on a different server ZRM for backup of DB Amanda for backup of files On the Clients Kmail and mozilla. Going to add more functionality later.
