I just said SSL VPN to generalize a class to which openvpn belongs.  If the OP 
has control of the firewall, there are also a number of brands ,like linksys 
for instance, that offer SSL-based VPN clients for their firewall devices.

There's also a japanese-named P2P VPN product.  I can't recall the name now.  
Though I believe that it is Windows-based, but it can supposedly create a VPN 
link between two NAT'ed PCs.
