Hi, I'm trying to browse www.myspeed.visualware.com to check my connection speed. However, my installed java wont run.
I'm using Fedora Core 6 kernel 2.6.22.9-61.fc6, gcc-4.1.2-13.fc6, and firefox 1.5.0.12. Details on my java installation as follows: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# which java /usr/java/jre1.6.0_03/bin/java [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~]# java -version java version "1.6.0_03" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_03-b05) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.6.0_03-b05, mixed mode, sharing) I have linked my firefox plugin as: /usr/lib/firefox-1.5.0.12/plugins/libjavaplugin_oji.so -> /usr/java/jre1.6.0_03/plugin/i386/ns7/libjavaplugin_oji.so I also checked enabled java on my firefox browser. I have attempted to install both via rpm and source but it really wont run. Is there anyone experienced the same and was able to fix? Please share. I really need java support on my browser. Thanks. -Iris _________________________________________________ Philippine Linux Users' Group (PLUG) Mailing List [email protected] (#PLUG @ irc.free.net.ph) Read the Guidelines: http://linux.org.ph/lists Searchable Archives: http://archives.free.net.ph
