you install fedora on sata and you ran into errors like cannot find
/dev/hdg? at that point there's already something wrong with that, you
should not ignore those errors..is this fedora core 7?
is there any ide installed? better check your boot loader configuration or
the device mapping...
or better install again on clean environment.
