Hello All. DabaweGNU, Inc., ICT Davao Inc., and Kaiban Inc., is organizing FOSS Mi! (We are for FOSS!), a Mindanao-wide FOSS conference to be held at the NCCC Mall in Davao City on September 27-29, 2007. In this regard we are inviting Pluggers to assist us by volunteering as speakers on the following topics:
- Software Licensing & FOSS - FOSS for the Corporate Desktop - FOSS Migration Stories: Issues and Successes - Samba Primary Domain Controller - High Availability solutions - FOSS-based Backup Solutions - Thin Client Computing (LTSP, PXES) - Virtualization - Linux VPN - FOSS-based Firewalls - Web/Application Development ( - Databases - FOSS Audio Authoring and Editing - Video Editing/ Streaming - VOIP - IPR & Creative Commons licensing - FOSS Animation The organizers will shoulder the speaker's travel and accommodation expenses.
