Check the MD5Sum of the package you downloaded. Compare it to the checksum
of the package on Sun's site. If they are different, then you have a
corrupted download.

Sparc64 is Sun's flagship platform. I seriously doubt they would release a
broken JDK on their primary platform. So check your download.
