The O.P. wanted just some "specific users" to be unable to use webmail. If
he uninstall squirrelmail, then everybody would be unable to use it. Maybe
it's their office policy that he wanted to implement.

My suggestion is to search the SquirrelMail documentation to see if they
have a plugin for this. This is not a default behavior and somebody might
have already a PERL (kudos to kuya Orly A.) plugin for this ;-P

why not uninstall squirrelmail so that they won't have  any front end when
they 're out of the office.
