I come from Mindanao and not all places have access to the Internet. I am sure this is true in other parts of the Philippines as well. But I am sure that cellphone coverage is already widespread. Could the Comelec use a computer to enter data and have cellphones send the data via SMS instead of through the Internet?

Passwords will surely be forgotten if not written down. Also, whats to stop people from using easy passwords such as 'password'. This could be a problem. Would a randomly generated number appended, perhaps as a suffix, to the user's selected password be better? I think it would be okey to have this printed. The password can be stolen or sold but the number would never be enough to influence the outcome of an election.
>There will be problems, like voter's selling the voter's ID numbers and passwords to the highest bidders, or goons controlling an election center, and forcibly extracting voters' ID numbers and passwords from everyone, and voting in their place. No election system will ever be perfect.
True. Even if people sell their passwords, politicians will not have enough money to pay a lot of people. Most cheating occur in the municipal or provincial level where a few people can easily be paid off.
