[plug] RemoveLock

I have a question about kubuntu dapper. I used to run mandriva 2005 LE and my modem runs correctly on kppp. When I try to use kpp from console mode, I get a message that about RemoveLock on the modem in console. The gui says its unable to open the modem. Is there a program by default that has control of my modem in kubuntu?
