Oh well i searched the skype for linux forums and it seems like this is a VERY known bug. I  have tried some of the workarounds but did not work on me. I even tried skype_dsp_hijack but no avail. :(

I have this strange error:
read error, res = -1 , handle = 22

It's a read error. Not just /dev/dsp-1 resource busy ...

I guess I'll just sit around for a while and wait for Skype for Linux to mature. :)
