We offer a complete range of Linux services and support solutions, from simple server installations to highly complex application-based support. ## Job Description ### What do we want from you? - We want you to be enthusiastic about technology. - We want you to have the knack and excitement of solving problems. ### What kind of mess would you be dealing with? - We accept that this job profile is all about dealing with mess ups and fixing them up (which sadly is every job these days). More elaborately, Linux servers... Mostly monitoring, troubleshooting and handling failures (of the system). - Usual problems aside, you will also have some interesting tasks relating to managing large networks and firewalls where you would handle security threats like DDoS, SQL injection, brute force attacks. ### What will you be signing up for? - Nicely and timely communicating verbally and in written with your team. - Administration of Linux based operating like CentOS, Redhat, Ubuntu or Debian. - Great to have: Ninja scripting skills in BASH, Perl and Python for automation purposes. Administration and knowledge of Linux based virtualization technologies like KVM. - Installing/implementing performance monitoring tools like Nagios and Zabbix. - Familiarity with open source tools, monitoring systems, hardware troubleshoot, tracking, resolution, and routine maintenance with security updates. - Management of Automated deployment tools like Jenkins and Git repository tools. - Management, implementation and troubleshooting of VPN related technologies like OpenVPN. - Firewall management and maintenance (adjusting rules to suit new applications deployment). - Server update, migrations and database server migrations. - Daily system monitoring in automated way, verifying the integrity and availability of all virtual hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. - Strong understanding of secure Apache server configurations and SSL ### Configurations - Manage Cloud Based Infrastructure running Open stack. - Designing and architect infrastructure solutions. - Managing Container Orchestration infrastructures running Docker or Kubernetes. - Implementation and management of Domain Name System related changes. ### The usual - Open to learn and adapt new technologies - Capable to doing R&D on technologies to deliver POCs ## Strong troubleshooting skills Log Analysis for finding root cause of the issues related to above mentioned products and technologies ## Special requirement Please be willing to work in rotational shifts depending on requirement?
