oh i would have missed this looking at just the topic , yes we too do a moderation on both Python NCR list and IITD LUG list , moderate first time posters then for the later posts we remove the moderate flag asap , yes it is a necessary overhead ,we distributed work among few people so that this is taken care by whomsoever is online , sometimes it happens that the messages are held in queue too for hours and days when nobody is looking at them , but overall it helped us contain the spam , talking about stats we banned 199 people on the IITD Lug list till date and the number of members are 1508 . -Satya _______________________________________ Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List
