Here are the minutes of meeting : *Shirish Agrawal will be coordinating with the Hutatma Rajguru School in Pandav Nagar, whereas Chitra Watwani will be the coordinator among we volunteers. *Till now the date for going to the school & doing the installation is not fixed, Shirish will let us know very soon. *For the first go, we are targetting 5-6 PCs to be installed with the latest version of Debian. *Lokesh Walase & Sagar Gaikwad will be getting the iso-image of Debian & try burning them on DVDs. *There is a school called Dnyan Prabodhini,near Sambaji Bridge,in the heart of city. This school uses GNU/Linux OS in school labs.Lokesh Walase will try to get contact of some school-teacher their. Later we plan to visit the school & see what they have done.
*In the nearby area of school, we also plan to teach the basics of computer to the women.There a TV is available, so if we could get a Rasperry Pi,even that could be done.Praveen A will be looking into this matter. We plan to do both of things( school installation + teaching women ) parallely. *NEXT MEET : We would meet next Friday, 28th Sep, at College of Engineering, Pune.
