You can try qmailrocks on google. Also if you want to go for a more advanced mail server, then go for foss zimbra mail server. In this, only take care that you need a perfect dns setup and hostname entry in your ns server prior to installing zimbra free mail server. You can get good amount of documentation on google for installing zimbra mail server. Let us know if it works for you. Hope this helps. > Varun Arvind Deshpande > > When you wish upon a star, > makes no difference who you are > Anything your heart desires > will come to you > ( Leigh Harline and Ned Washington) > > > ------------------------------ > > Message: 2 > Date: Wed, 12 Sep 2012 20:28:17 +0530 > From: Arun Khan <knu...@gmail.com> > To: "Pune GNU/Linux Users Group Mailing List" <plug-mail@plug.org.in> > Subject: Re: [PLUG] open source linux mail server > Message-ID: > <CAHhM8gAa13SvHBsiMztqnNwG9B= > jkss4zudkr4atx9h2ouw...@mail.gmail.com> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 > > On Wed, Sep 12, 2012 at 7:49 PM, Varun Deshpande > <deshpande.va...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Hi, > > > > Please suggest me a good linux mail server. which is easy to install and > > manage > > Beware managing an email server is not for the faint of heart. > Especially when it will be visible on the Internet. > > Will this server be in an Intranet or visible on the Internet?
