Instead of selecting the default link for download  from the Mandriva
site, (http://mandriva.com/en/download/free) you should select for a
different country. This will give you a list of various mirrors
available across various countries. Select any ftp or http download
suitable to you. ( if you are on Tata Indicom broadband, always select
http instead of ftp. I suppose they have restrictions on ftp. http
download is much faster compared to ftp on Tata Indicom)


We already have the DVD  of "Mandriva 2008 Spring - Free" available
with PLUG now.
