UN has declared (on 9th November) that September 15 henceforth is going to be celebrated as a **International Day of Democracy**
The wording of that resolution is quite interesting because it appears correct in spirit. It was passed by unanimous consensus meaning there was no *vote* and *veto* required. the news is available on TimeofIndia of 10th.
