I am planning the following hardware for a ubuntu 64 bit server
configuration:
AMD X2 4200+ Dual Core processor. Dual Core and Asus 945 chipset board
The motherboard is a dual display output type.
Asus M2N MXFE motherboard.
Transcend 1 GB 800 MHz. DDR2 RAM. optional is 2 GB ram at 600 mhz.
Seagate 160 GB SATA HDD. optional is 2 120 GB sata drives. one for
backup.
Plan to use it as a LAMP development server with subversion, trac, wiki
and other open source pieces.
I am leaning towards Ubuntu 64 bit 7.04 server edition.
any feedbacks? tips?
