Why would neone relate CPU optimisations, with which ui they are using,
anyway? MMX is mainly for graphics acceleration but who says cli can not
run graphics stuff??? and MMX instructions are lot usefull in other

here see some reason why for:
P-4, i686 based system uses pipelining, which is really advance in
p-4, and that is not only needed in Graphical, but CLI too.
A question. is pipelining dependant on the code? i mean why would one
need to turn on optimisations? won't the i686 pipeline work even otherwise?
Thess are quite stupid comments actually, but i was really wondering if
anyone would turn off the opt. in any case, except for may be
portability advantage.
