Date: Thursday 18:57:30 Dear BCSians, This is to formally notify you that our own Linux distribution called Fergusson Linux has been released a couple of weeks ago. You may visit the website fergilinux.tripod.com for more details. It is particularly suited for BCS students and we dont enforce that only Fergussonians use it. You are all free to get it. You might have already gotten wind of this but I did not want to say anything until we had a sufficient user base. This was quite a sudden move and we are all trying to come to terms with the development so soon. So we have many loose ends like half-finished websites, certain places where we forgot to remove Fedora's packages, etc. For more details please contact someone other than me for either the CD-ROMS and other stuff. You may visit the contact us page on the website. I may not be very friendly in answering phone calls since I am quite burdened for the next 3 months in assembling the ICPC team from FC.
