they are not bugs, ..rather the string handling for a login ID "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" is the same as "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". If the period sign was used while registering you will have to login with it too, else you can put a (.) anywhere in the string"first.last.name" and the mail will reach the same gmail id.
