In order to install Oracle 9i on linux you require
access to Oracle Metalink. This access is not free and
given only to Oracle customers. During installation
you need to install some Oracle patches without which
the installation fails. Anyone, pls correct me if I'm
wrong. In case anyone has any idea about getting hold
of these patches or any pointers about how
installation can be done without access to these
patches et cetera, pls advice.
