Hmmm... could that indicate you should experiment with the connection settings? Such as "Hardware CTS/RTS" vs "Software XON/XOFF" etc? Parity, Stop bits etc? Something in the connect script? Line terminator as "CR" or "CR+LF"? Setting the right "AT" command options?
