Yeah, we have used VB + MySQL for projects in our
college.
Actually we made all the connections using ODBC, and
we tested with Oracle, MySQL and Access.
We primarily used MySQL because Oracle is damn slow...
Basically the code remains the same, no change if you
make the connections through ODBC. You have to use
ODBC driver for MySQL called as MyODBC.
