Same can be done with the code of Microsoft. I think its only becuz 
Microsoft
has kept its source code secret, that they are the richest
people and that's why Red hat and Unix people, though having written a 
Solid
code much much better then the Billy's crap work are still
where they started if compared to the Giant Microsoft. Its not becuz 
of the
quality of the software but becuz of the marketing strategies, i
suppose, that they are Making 2.9 Billion Profit in the Q1.
Every one, almost every pone knows ke *nix is better and secured and 
faster and
blah blah blah then Windows. Why, I wonder Why, People, Including me, 
still use
them.

You answered your question in your mail itself. Slick marketing of 
inferior &
substandard products and the policy of 'killing off the competition' 
has brought
about the effect that whenever one thinks of an IT product (say an 
Operating
System), the first thing that swims across someone's eyes is a box with
'Microsoft' written in friendly lettering all over it. If Unix was a 
direct
threat to M$ in the 80's and 90's, it wouldn't have been around today. 
M$ would
have killed or bought off the unix companies.


Ya That was what i was trying to explain. Why shud we go with the 
company/brand which is not selling
and not doing well in market? Why not go with the leaders...? After 
all... we are the Sellers. Not the Customers.
