This project came out at the last Active sprint, at least 2 people there mentioned that the MeeGo system wasn't something we wanted to keep. I haven't look at the code of the daemon itself but I have looked at the Qt api (so I could get inspired for ours). I have to say that the API is quite complete though I don't like some syntax but nothing that can be changed or even wrapped in case we want to support gnome accounts. Also iirc we should be able to create a third party module for KDE that implements all the goodness we discussed at akademy. One thing I'd like to point out is that using this accounts-sso will not ensure less fragmentation, Ubuntu may decide tomorrow to switch to gnome accounts, or to do their own. So if we use accounts-sso we should be prepared to take maintainership of it in case it gets unmaintained. _______________________________________________ Plasma-devel mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/plasma-devel
