Package: network-manager-openvpn Version: 0.9.10.0-1 If the openvpn connection goes down for some reason, then Network Manager doesn't recognize and /etc/resolv.conf is not reset to the previous state.
openvpn tries to reconnect, but it cannot resolve the peer's IP address anymore due to the bad resolv.conf file. Workaround is to add the peer's IP address to /etc/hosts.
