Package: udisks
Version: 1.0.1+git20100614-3
Severity: normal
Hello,
gnome-disk-utility doesn't show the size, filesystem type and label of the root
(and some other) logical volumes. After running «udevadm trigger [--subsystem-
match=block --action=change]» it shows everything as intended.
I tried this on a default squeeze install in virtualbox, on my working computer
and additionally upgraded udisks and it's dependencies to testing. Because of
udisks's postinst script running «udevadm trigger --subsystem-match=block
--action=change» the testing version worked fine after installation, but after
a reboot the behaviour was basically the same as before.
The only difference I could make out, was that with the wheezy version of
udisks the information of all LVs was missing, while with the squeeze version
only the information about root and swap didn't show up. Here
http://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=67318
I gave a more detailed description of the setup of my working computer.
kind regards
Philipp
