Package: gnome-disk-utility
Version: 2.28.1-2
Severity: normal

Without the smartmontools package installed and "smartctl -a on /dev/sda" run,
the SMART/health status is set to "Unknown" in the disk utility. After
installing smartmontools, running the above command and rebooting, the
SMART/health status is then shown correctly.

A casual user may not know to do this and then will not be warned of any hard
drive problems.
