Package: network-manager-pptp Version: 1.2.12-1 Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: s...@debian.org
Hi, I have a PPTP VPN configured in N-M. If I activate it from nm-applet, I get asked for the keyring password, then the connection is established. If I activate it from nmcli ("nmcli connection up VPN3"), I get a graphical prompt for the keyring password, as with the applet, but activation fails because a secret is unavailable, and --ask was not given. With --ask, it asks for the keyring password on the shell (despite the keyring being unlocked already) and then asks for the VPN PSK on the shell (despite that being saved in the VPN config), then still fails to activate, with "dbus: failure: connect-failed (1)". After establishing the connection once from nm-applet I can use nmcli to activate and deactivate it.
