Hi; EasyEffects is now a broken package. When installed, it does not correctly pass through from the processing sink to the output sink. This morning I spent a few hours moving to Pipewire 1.0.3, as well as building the most recent version of EasyEffects as found on Github. Needless to say, this was a somewhat lengthy and complicated task. However, I can confirm that these newer packages function properly together. A short Github issue was raised here: https://github.com/wwmm/easyeffects/issues/2952
On Arch-based distributions, Pipewire 1.0.3 is already installed or available in repositories, and appears to be stable and functional. I wonder if it might not be possible to thus expedite the addition of later releases to Debian Stable/Main - along with Wireplumber and the other associated packages for ALSA, Jack, Bluetooth, etcetera.
