Package: pipewire Version: 0.3.65-3 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
Using pipewire with JuK under Debian Stable (Bookworm) with an Anker Soundcore 2 results in the beginning of every track being messed up. I've also noticed similar oddities when playing audio from Firefox. More precisely, when the track begins, the first bit of audio heard is not the start of the track. Then there's a brief pause where there is no audio. Then the track resumes from the first snippet of audio. This destroys the user listening experience, so much so that I have now switched back to using Pulseaudio on Bookworm, which appears to be flawless when playing tracks from Juk. -- System Information: Debian Release: 12.0 APT prefers stable-security APT policy: (500, 'stable-security'), (500, 'stable-debug'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 6.1.0-9-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Kernel taint flags: TAINT_USER Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages pipewire depends on: ii adduser 3.134 ii init-system-helpers 1.65.2 ii libpipewire-0.3-modules 0.3.65-3 ii pipewire-bin 0.3.65-3 pipewire recommends no packages. pipewire suggests no packages. -- no debconf information _______________________________________________ Pkg-utopia-maintainers mailing list Pkg-utopia-maintainers@alioth-lists.debian.net https://alioth-lists.debian.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-utopia-maintainers
