Package: policykit-1
Version: 0.105-8
Severity: minor

Dear Maintainer,

using command line 'man' doesn't show the problem in a normal terminal, but

    kman () { kfmclient newTab man:"$@" ;}
    kman pklocalauthority

shows that the ascii graphic representation of the filesystem hierarchies in
section "EVALUATION ORDER" contains accented 8-bit characters instead of simple
line drawing characters as the filesystem hierarchies in the section "DIRECTORY
STRUCTURE" shows.

Please note, i have a debsums failure (below), because i HAND-EDITING my copy
of that man page source so i could get a nice pretty-print from the 'man'
kioslave in konqueror.

e.g:

DIRECTORY STRUCTURE section:
.nf
/etc/polkit\-1/
`\-\- localauthority
    |\-\- 10\-vendor\&.d
    |\-\- 20\-org\&.d
    |\-\- 30\-site\&.d
    |\-\- 50\-local\&.d
    `\-\- 90\-mandatory\&.d

EVALUATION ORDER section:
.nf
/var/lib/polkit\-1
â~T~Tâ~T~@â~T~@ localauthority
    â~T~\â~T~@â~T~@ 10\-vendor\&.d
    â~T~B â~T~Tâ~T~@â~T~@ 10\-desktop\-policy\&.pkla
    â~T~\â~T~@â~T~@ 20\-org\&.d
    â~T~\â~T~@â~T~@ 30\-site\&.d
    â~T~\â~T~@â~T~@ 50\-local\&.d
    â~T~\â~T~@â~T~@ 55\-org\&.my\&.company\&.d
    â~T~B â~T~Tâ~T~@â~T~@ 10\-org\&.my\&.company\&.product\&.pkla
    â~T~Tâ~T~@â~T~@ 90\-mandatory\&.d

The above 8-bit characters seem to get normalized to line-draw with command
line 'man', but also appear not to be translatable with 'uni2ascii -B' or
'iconv -c -f utf8 -t ascii'.

This man page is basically empty now since polkit Local Authority no longer exists.

Closing the bug report accordingly.
