There's though no mentioning of masking in the dh_systemd_start(1) and dh_systemd_enable(1) man pages, there is no systemd2init man page, and /usr/share/doc/dh-systemd/ contains no further documentation either. After reading the source of /usr/share/perl5/Debian/Debhelper/Sequence/systemd.pm, I assume that dh $@ --with=systemd suffices. Will try that.
