I've the same problem on an older Acer Laptop (Aspire 1670). I installed Jessie-LXDE from scratch. The system suspends the first time after approx. 2 1/2 minutes. From then on it continous suspending after a few seconds.
I tried "HandleLidSwitch=ignore" but unfortunately it doesn't help in my case. What helps is stopping systemd-logind ("systemctl stop systemd-logind"). Then the system runs stable till the next logout or login (no matter whether on a VT or with su or via the DisplayManager) Christoph Sobotka _______________________________________________ Pkg-systemd-maintainers mailing list Pkg-systemd-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org http://lists.alioth.debian.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pkg-systemd-maintainers
