Package: systemd
Version: 208-8
Severity: normal
Debian: Testing amd64
Regression: Yes
Since systemd, my CIFS drives are woken up early at the boot time, when
all the local filesystems are mounted. So this is one of the first
operations done during boot.
This results in CIFS drives not to be automatically mounted at boot time.
This is a regression since it was not the case before jessie switched to
systemd.
Please update to the latest version in jessie (i.e. 215-5)
Then boot with systemd.log_level=debug on the kernel command line and
then include the output of
systemd-analyze dump
journalctl -al
Please also attach your network configuration (e.g.
/etc/network/interface, if you use ifupdown) and your /etc/fstab.
Thanks for the care.
I cannot, for now, update to the latest systemd since some severe bugs
are still present.
If you can confirm that systemd (and its dependencies) will upgrade with
no issues, then I'll might give it a try.
