Dear Maintainer(s), As discussed before Bookworm released, for Trixie we'd like to drop a lot of out-of-tree debian code and transition from the debian-only /etc/default/locale location to the more common /etc/locale.conf which is shared by most other distributions. The content is the same, so there's no functional change. We can add a compat symlink in the old location to ensure existing scripts or programs are not affected.
