Dear Maintainer,

Please create /dev/serial/ persistant rules for plateform (pci/soc) serial port.

It will help for developping NTP GPS displined board for freedom box and other
uses based on olimex board

persistant serial name are created for usb device and not for soc/pci serial
board that render harder to bind serial port to a particular use.

Thanks

Bastien

Can you raise this upstream please at
https://github.com/systemd/systemd/issues

I don't have such hardware and there are likely follow-up questions that upstream will have.

No follow-up on this issue happened, thus closing the bug report.
