Hi, In fact, this problem affects all Ruby packages that declare working only with Ruby1.8 through XS-Ruby-Versions: variable in debian/control and ship pure Ruby file. At the moment, the variable XS-Ruby-Versions: only prevents binary extension to be built for non supported versions. Should gem2deb copy the relevant .rb files for those packages to the vendorlibdir directory instead of putting them in the vendordir?
