Hi,
I hit http://www.redmine.org/issues/3929 while adding an https://.../
subversion repo
I had to create /var/www/.suvbersion, launching
sudo -u www-data svn --config-dir /var/www/.subversion co https://..../
/tmp/mydir
I'm not sure, but I had to change in
/usr/share/redmine/lib/redmine/scm/adapters/subversion_adapter.rb
SVN_BIN adding two params: "--no-auth-cache --non-interactive"
Could be possible adding a note in README.Debian telling how can we fix
this issue ?

this won't be fixed upstream, but they provide a workaround :
