Package: pulseaudio
Version: 9.0-5
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Pulseaudio correctly detects USB headset (headphones and microphone) but sound
is only output through external speakers.

*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***

   * What led up to the situation?
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
   * What was the outcome of this action?
   * What outcome did you expect instead?

No worries.

Yes, pactl is the tool to use. Yo can check the command `pactl list
sink-inputs` to list the player streams, and `pactl move-sink-input`
to move the stream. Use `pactl list sinks` to get the name of the
device.

It might be that the resampling is too heavy to perform. Try using
another remixer (see the pulse-daemon.conf manpage).

If this doesn't work, I suggest contacting the upstream list at
[email protected], as I'm not sure what else
could be the problem. Do attach a verbose daemon log when doing so.

Don't worry, it is not a problem.

I am going to close this bug now. Feel free to reopen if you think
this still is a bug, and not just a configuration issue.
