pulseaudio comes with an equalizer module (module-equalizer-sink.so) and with a graphical tool to configure it (qpaeq). However the latter is not shipped with any Debian package. I'm not aware of any other way to configure the equalizer, so it would be nice to ship qpaeq in Debian, either as part of pulseaudio-utils or as a new package.
