Hi Kurt,
I tried to reproduce your bug today with the latest versions of
pavucontrol (2.0-1), pulseaudio (5.0-1) and skype (4.2.0.13) and could
not make any program crash when they are running altogether (during a
call or not).
Is the bug reproducible with the latest version of pulseaudio?
And if yes, could you try to provide a backtrace of pulseaudio crashing?
