Hi, I worked a bit on the pulseaudio packaging.
A short summary of my changes: * updated for 0.9.23 * use [linux-any] wildcard in control file * switched to "3.0 (quilt)" package format * add symbol files for libraries and remove shlibs files * install newly added modules * update to Standards Version 3.9.2 (add Breaks and Replaces) * removed the init script as PA's system mode is strongly discouraged and not really supported upstream I also have a multiarch branch which uses debhelper v9 to install the libraries in multiarch paths.
