Hi everyone Advene [1] is a video annotation tool, that was present in Debian but got removed before stretch release in 2015 because of dependencies on obsolete packages (gstreamer 0.10, python-rsvg...). Lack of time prevented me (as upstream) to cope with this update at the time.
I had the opportunity this year to work again on it, and it has now been updated to use recent software/libs: python3, gtk3, gstreamer1.0, etc. It is thus fit for a comeback in Debian. I have updated the gbp-based tree on https://anonscm.debian.org/cgit/pkg-multimedia/advene.git/ I am now looking for some feedback on the packaging, and some assistance/sponsorship to get it back in Debian. Could anyone give a hand?
