Pmount creates a mount point like /media/sdb1. Udevil is configured on my system to create a mount point like /media/$USER/$LABEL. But Guayadeque does not detect either one.
USB detection worked prior to making systemd the default. I did not move to systemd, but stuck with sysvinit. This drastically reduces the functionality of Guayadeque for me, as my primary use case is transcoding flac files and copying them to USB stick for use in a car stereo which doesn't support flac. USB detection worked fine until a short time after systemd became Debian's default. I had been using pcmanfm to mount my USB sticks. That in turn uses gvfs, which eventually tried to change my init system to systemd. I opted instead to use spacefm which uses either udevil or pmount to mount USB sticks. Udevil even mounts them to the same mount point as pcmanfm/gvfs would have, but Guayadeque doesn't seem to notice. Great media player, by the way.
