It looks like to be a problem with encryption, not with XBMC itself.
The videos I could play used TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256,
while the one I could not used TLS_RSA_WITH_AES_128_GCM_SHA256 and the
client signaled decryption error:
