With some videos I get an horizontal line at the bottom and with others I get a vertical line on the right side. The line is obscuring the video. Big Buck Bunny[1] is a nice example: I tried the video in 854x480 and both mp4 and ogg give me a vertical color-distorted line at the right side. If I try the 1920x1080-version the line is at the bottom. avi or ogg does not matter in both cases. > Which VLC video output plugin was used and does it affect others? Here, vlc is set to automatic which chooses xvideo output (xcb). However, the distortion is not present if I disable "accelerated video output (overlay)" in vlc. In vlc 2.1.x this problem did not exist.
