I tried the new packaged version 2.0.6 today and ended up in the obove mentioned problem, which makes audacity nearly unusable. From now on I could play the project, but when I selected a piece of audio and wanted to play this selection, the program crashed. I then tried this and that, exsp. selected the proper alsa device as output in the preferences and finally disabled lv2-plugins in the preferences. With this I tried some other old projects and created new ones and all seemed to be fine, but all the projects, in which I tried to apply some lv2-effect before, can't even be opened any more, even if I reverse my changes in the preferences.
