I guess you mean rm -f, but I think the right way to remove it is to use the dpkg-maintscript-helper support provided by dh_installdeb, since it will leave the file there if the sysadmin has customised it, since the sysadmin might want to keep the changes. -- bye, pabs http://wiki.debian.org/PaulWise
