You are correct, LADSPA possibly does not need to be embedded because the header file is untouched. dssi headers cannot be external without bringing in unnecessary ALSA dependencies, as falktx has changed these headers significantly. vestige header is one file and I think has no package in Debian repos (?) I have made a significant bugfix since 3.2 regarding the function of the logarithmic knobs and created a new version 3.3, including your hardening patch, Jaromír.
